Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck, or an abdominoplasty, can significantly enhance your appearance and self-confidence. The procedure involves the removal of excess skin and fat from the abdomen and tightening the muscles of the abdominal wall. This procedure can dramatically reduce the appearance of a protruding abdomen and remove excess bulk.

Abdominoplasty can recreate a waistline that has been stretched over a long period of time.

The best candidates for abdominoplasty are men or women who have a flabby abdomen. There are not only excess fatty deposits but also excess loose skin, even hanging skin. The surgery is particularly helpful to men and women who, through episodes of weight gain and loss or pregnancy, have stretched their abdominal muscles and skin beyond the point where they can return to normal. Also, loss of skin elasticity in older patients, which frequently occurs with the normal aging process, can be improved as well.

Liposuction

Liposuction can help sculpt your body, restore a more shapely form, and improve your fit in clothes by removing unwanted fat from specific areas, such the abdomen, love handles, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks and neck.

As we age, our metabolism changes, our body fat is redistributed, and stubborn fat pockets form that don't shrink with exercise. Liposuction is a safe and effective method of reshaping your body and restoring a healthier appearance. In select patients, it can even be done as an office procedure.

Body Lift

Also called circumferential torsoplasty, panniculectomy and lipectomy, the body lift is performed to remove excess skin and sometimes also fat from the torso and upper legs (affecting the abdomen, back, buttocks, hips and thighs). It is a complicated procedure that can take three to seven hours under general anesthesia and involves a difficult recovery period of four to six weeks.

Candidates for body lifts typically either cannot lose significant amounts of weight, or already suffer from loose (inelastic) skin on many or most areas of the body as a result of age, childbearing or extreme weight loss due to diet, exercise or bariatric surgery. Because of this, the procedure is often combined with others such as breastlifts, facelifts and armlifts to retain a proper body proportion.

Thigh Lift

With aging, skin gets loose and flabby as natural elasticity disappears. In women, this tendency may result in large areas of saggy skin. Thigh lifting is meant to stretch skin back into place, improve contours by making tighter, more attractive thigh and buttock skin, reduce fat layers and decrease irregularities in the skin surface, if necessary, and excise surplus skin.

Arm Lift

Arm lift, or brachioplasty, is used to remove excess skin and fat from underneath the arms. People who have sagging or drooping skin on the upper arms due to weight loss, aging, or genetics are good candidates for arm lift surgery. After brachioplasty, the arms appear significantly more trim, firm, and smooth.

The procedure is usually done under general anesthesia. In order to remove the unwanted skin, an incision is required that runs from near the elbow into the armpit. The incision is placed in the most inconspicuous location (inner arm toward the back), but some scarring will always be visible.
