BOTOX® Cosmetic

The Juvéderm gel is made of hyaluronic acid with a smooth consistency, allowing for easy injections and instant, natural-looking results. There is no pre-testing needed for this procedure.
Topical or injectable anesthesia may be used during this procedure to numb the treatment area and minimize any potential discomfort. The results of this procedure are available right away and can usually last for up to a year, the longest results available from any hyaluronic acid product.

Voluma is a game-changing filler product which is placed deep under the skin resulting in volumizing, lifting and contouring cheeks, cheekbones, and the jaw line. What is in Voluma? Voluma is made of a thick hyaluronic based gel that enables us to re-fill areas that aging has caused to deflate. Voluma is the latest addition to facial fillers made by Allergan (makers of Botox and Juvederm).
HOW LONG DOES VOLUMA LAST?
Voluma is the longest lasting of the FDA approved facial fillers, lasting up to 2 years or more. In fact, Voluma is the ONLY hyaluronic acid filler approved by the FDA to specifically contour and volumize the midface. Other fillers typically have a life cycle of between 6-9 months.
DOES IT HURT?
Voluma is pre-mixed with lidocaine (a numbing agent) so most patients find the treatment to be very comfortable . The only discomfort is the injection into the skin which is done through a very fine gauge needle and feels like a quick pinch. As the Voluma gel is placed, you will feel mild pressure. Patients are very comfortable while receiving Voluma treatments.
The main difference between receiving Voluma or other Juvéderm filler products is the depth of placement. Voluma is injected deeper into the skin to allow for lift the mid region of the face, the cheekbones and the smoothes the jaw line.
Radiesse®
Radiesse is a synthetic injectable filler that reduces wrinkles, creases and scars by augmenting the body’s natural collagen supply. Composed of microspheres in a biocompatible gel, Radiesse is made from the same minerals found in our bones, so it carries little risk of allergic reaction. Radiesse can be used on many areas of the body, including the lips, nasolabial folds, peri-oral lines, depressed scars and oral commissures.
Treatments typically take 15 minutes and require only local anesthetic. Side effects such as swelling or bruising are minimal and should fade within a few days. Results are visible immediately after the injection and can last for months or years, although the procedure can be repeated as often as you wish.
Dermabrasion
Dermabrasion is the removal of the outer layers of the skin with a high-speed rotary sanding wheel. Topical creams or injections are usually used for anesthesia. Dermabrasion is particularly effective for treating creases around the mouth and for acne scars with sharp edges that cast shadows. Unlike chemical peels or laser resurfacing, it cannot be used around the eyes.
Belotero®
Similar to other “filler” procedures, Belotero® involves the use of hyaluronic acid which is produced naturally in your skin to help enhance areas of your face that have shown signs of aging. The Belotero® essentially replenishes your body’s supply of hyaluronic acid allowing for a more youthful appearance.
Depending on your specific circumstance, the procedure takes about 30 minutes. While side effects are rare, they may include swelling, redness, and itching but will typically fade quickly.

Xeomin® & Dysport® differ in the specific chemicals used for the injection which can give our patients more options for which procedure they choose. All three options are incredibly safe and effective and require minimal recovery.
